Tour begins soon - getting very excited now!

Hi everyone and thank you so much for joining us on our latest travel adventure, especially to everyone who has followed one or more of our previous tour blogs.

This tour commences on Christmas night and we will be arriving in London just in time for the Boxing Day shopping sales.

All going well with the freezing weather conditions in Europe we are planning for New Year's Eve in Rome before we make our way east for this year's road trip from southern Poland to Croatia.

Along the route we plan to travel south from Krakow, Poland crossing over the High Tatra mountains into Slovakia and winding our way south through Austria and Slovenia to Zagreb in Croatia.

We then plan to fly back to London to thaw out for a week before heading home to Australia.

Well that is the plan anyway - if it does not warm up a little we may spend four weeks wherever our plane is diverted to as we approach a snow covered 'Dickensian' London!!

Don't forget comments are always welcome from all our followers.

  5. What good news that you managed to get to London and then on to Rome. It would all have changed since we were there last - we love the Gherkin building, so were pleased to see that picture too. You are obviously having a great time, and that's what holidays are all about.
    Enjoy!

  7. Hello all and thanks for following! Happy new year to all of you. We're managing to stay warm and hope you're staying dry. So far we haven't actually been 'snowed on' but there's plenty on the ground! We're expecting to see more as we head into the Tatras. Stay with us!
